Job Description Job Description View public job page Requirements Responsibilities Include Jal new Mexico 60 mile radius **Water Treatment Technician will have Knowledge and Ability to Perform the Following: ** Accurately documenting and record keeping of water sampling, testing and readings. ** Ensure all safety standards are met by observing safe working practices and safety rules and regulations. ** Calibrates laboratory equipment and adjusts chemical feeders for optimal water treatment. ** Maintains records, including operations logs, daily diaries, and chemical inventories; compiles reports as required by departmental policies. ** Reads, calculates, and records water usage ** Operates SCADA system to monitor and control well field production. ** Maintains pressure and flow levels in distribution water to frac. **Qualifications: ** A minimum of 3-years in a water treatment role and Knowledge of water treatment processes. ** Knowledge of the handling and application of the chemicals, necessary to maintain a safe water supply and personal safety. ** Ability to read gauges, collect samples for analysis and writing ability to record results ** Knowledge of water treatment plant operations and equipment, pumps and motors and related maintenance techniques. ** Operate and perform activities in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures (Federal, State, and Local policies and procedures). ** Must be willing to undergo background check and driving record check. ** Must be willing and able to pass DOT drug screening / physical. ** Must Live with in a 60 mile radius of Jal, NM **Compensation will also include: **A Company Truck, Company Fuel Card, Computer, and Cell Phone as well as Excellent Medical Benefits, Dental and Eye care, 401K, Free life insurance, Long-term and Short-term disability, Earned Vacation, Holiday Pay, in addition to 3 sets of FRCs. **Job Type: Full-time **Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour * 12 hour shift Experience: * Water treatment: 2 years (Required) * DAF System: 2 years (Required) * Hydrogen Peroxide: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person Edit job Open Benefits · Company truck/fuel card/tools · Competitive 401k · H2s training and monitor (if needed) · Boots & 3 sets of FRC's (or 6 items of clothing of your choice) · Excellent Medical (multiple affordable plans), Dental and Vision · Free life insurance · Long-term and short-term disability · Safety bonuses
